Play GTA V on MCPE

GTA V Theft Auto Craft MCPE, developed by Game Guru Co., is a free-to-play game utility. This mod integrates the Grand Theft Auto universe into your Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) gameplay. As is typical with crossover mods, it introduces familiar characters, weaponry, and maps, for you to play in your MCPE game. Unlike others, though, it completely skips the voxel art aesthetics.

What sets GTA V Theft Auto Craft MCPE apart is its faithful representation of instantly recognizable GTA characters, although it has limited content. Among the alternative mods available are Addons for Minecraft and Jenny Mod Minecraft.

Like a GTA demo on your device

GTA V Theft Auto Craft MCPE enables MCPE players to dive into the world of Grand Theft Auto V, an online action-adventure game by Rockstar Games. Set in the fictional city of Los Santos, the game follows the stories of three main characters. Much like other GTA entries, it permits players to take missions or pursue their own desires, with the caveat of dealing with the Wanted System, which determines the intensity and response of law enforcement units.

Regarding the mod itself, it introduces well-known characters such as Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips—the protagonists of GTA V—crafted in limited 3D. It doesn’t follow the standard MCPE voxel art style. Instead, it looks like a low-resolution mobile port of the hit RPG. It also incorporates a custom map that faithfully recreates a modern urban city, aligning with the style of most GTA games.

Despite positioning itself as a complete GTA V experience for mobile Minecraft, it still has room for expansion with additional assets to fully realize the crossover concept. Mobs and animals retain their default forms, and there are no added quests or new vehicles to enrich the experience. Additionally, this mod has been known to clash with other comprehensive mods, leading to unanticipated game crashes.

A good start for a mobile port

Despite these constraints, GTA V Theft Auto Craft MCPE remains an enjoyable addition to your Minecraft Pocket Edition adventure. It tries to adapt the hit open-world RPG through the MCPE engine, and it comes out as expected. Graphics restrictions and limited content, but everything is headed in the right direction. If you have free time and would like a passable mobile GTA experience, feel free to check this out.
